    Description

    Design and develop the core infrastructure of our company's IT operations, focusing on handling large amounts of data and executing intensive tasks on CPUs and GPUs. Your role will involve creating processes and tools to support the scaling of specialized workloads in on-premises and cloud environments for our autonomous vehicle service.

    Responsibilities
    • Building and managing our IT infrastructure platform
    • Participating in all stages of service deployment and designing resilient and easy-to-manage systems
    • Serving as a point of contact for resolving service issues
    Requirements
    Qualifications
    • Background in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
    • 4+ years of expertise in automation, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and SDLC utilizing tools like Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Git
    • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Linux/Unix applications including web servers, load balancers, storage systems, databases, DNS, monitoring & alerting, and metrics tools
    • Experience in programming with languages like Python
    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and tools like KVM, Docker, or LXC
    • Knowledge of Linux administration
    Bonus Qualifications
    • Knowledge of AWS, ECS, Kubernetes
    • Familiarity with HashiCorp products such as terraform, vault, nomad, consul, etc.
    • Experience with various distributions of Linux
    • Understanding of TCP/IP network fundamentals
    Location: On-Site in Foster City (hybrid schedule)
