Coverage Information:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled physician to provide full-time coverage for two facilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient care skills, be able to work independently, and maintain a strong presence in the medical community.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 12-hour in-house coverage at two sites, with alternating 12-hour off-site night calls.
Conduct scopes in the morning, starting at 8:00am, with call starting at 7am.
Rounding and seeing consults throughout the day.
Working at two facilities, 6 miles apart, with varying levels of patient load.

Clinical Requirements

Board certification in a relevant specialty.
Active South Carolina medical license and controlled substance license.
DEA registration, with willingness to transfer and maintain in-state privileges.
Current flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccination, with exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons.

System Information

MEDITECH and PK EMR systems.
eCW-Patient Keeper system.
Provation gastroenterology system.

Patient Demographics

Adult patients.
Daily patient volume: 27.

Standard Services

ERCP procedures required, with no exceptions.
Standard services from GI physicians expected.
