    We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization.

    In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures while utilizing gained educational knowledge and experience.


    The Marketplace Financial Analyst Intern will work with the marketplace team to help optimize the overall profitability of the marketplace channel.

    They will perform analyses on advertising spend, inventory, pricing, logistics cost, and other product expenses to ensure that SKU level target margins are being met.

    The financial analyst will also provide recommendations based on their findings and work with the marketplace content and merchandising team members to execute against those recommendations.

    This is a great role that will expose you to many aspects of managing a digital business.


    Essential Functions:
    Perform weekly and adhoc cost and revenue reports for the marketplace catalog
    Develop recommendations against findings such as developing new content to reduce return rates, optimizing ad spend for new product launches, and work with external teams to implement
    Develop reporting capabilities to communicate actions and impacts to the broader business
    Assist as needed on marketplace projects


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Good research and analytical skills
    • Proficient with Excel through vlookups, data tables, pivot tables
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and adapt to changing situation quickly
    • Pursuing a field of study in Finance, Business Administration, Management, Operations, or other analytical fields

    Minimum Requirements:
    Must be detail oriented
    Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally
    Must have the ability to collaborate with a team and contribute to insights


    Physical Demands:
    Must be able to look at computer monitors for 8 hours a day
    Must have the ability to use hands and fingers. Using them to type, manage copiers and/or printers.
    Must be able to exert up to at least 10 lbs. of force occasionally.


    Work Environment:
    This job is done in a traditional office environment. There will be extended periods of sitting.
