Our company is looking for a Boiler Service Technician to be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of boiler systems utilizing knowledge of theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding and brazing and mechanical layouts.

    In addition, this role is responsible for projects that have the following criteria:
    BOILER SERVICE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS &


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsible for servicing product and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of steam and hot water systems.

    Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair boilers.

    Uses power tools and computers.
    Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer's location.
    Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
    Perform boiler combustion analysis and be able to tune as needed.
    Familiar with all types of boilers, hot water and steam.

    Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.

    Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and literature supplies.
    Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service.
    Maintains tools and equipment by inspecting for signs of wear.
    Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
    Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact.
    Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
    Keeps current all manufacturers products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
    Provides technical support to customers.
    Regular travel requirements with occasional overnight travel.
    Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

    Be knowledgeable with the products and services offered by LMS and become effective in the sales of those products and services.

    Recognize opportunities and actively promote sales via Field Service Quotes.

    Maintain and submit time recap sheets and service reports for accurate time accounting using proper labor codes to assist in labor utilization and manpower planning.

    Other duties as assigned.
