    Opportunity

    Method Co. is currently seeking applicants for a Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting and finance team. This professional is primarily responsible for the preparation of month-end close accounting activities. The individual will be key to ensuring accurate and timely closing of the books, monthly financial reporting, annual budgeting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

    Scope Of Duties & Responsibilities

    • Conduct monthly general ledger closing activities for a variety of projects, including posting journal entries, performing account reconciliation and analyses
    • Ensure the accurate accounting treatment and coding for all revenue, expense and items of capital expense
    • Maintain accurate workpaper support and documentation
    • Reconcile intercompany balances and collaborate with related departments for smooth financial intercompany operations.
    • Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
    • Track and resolve all accounting discrepancies.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and investor reports
    • Contribute to special projects as required

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field.
    • Experience in Yardi or similar accounting software systems.
    • Commitment to highest standards of quality and integrity
    • Ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks
