Responsibilities
- Safely operate various vehicles such as box trucks or drivers to deliver goods efficiently around Mankato area 100miles radius, 8hr shift
- Starts at 10am-5pm
- Load and unload cargo using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are handled with care and precision
- Navigate route driving with a focus on punctuality, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory and organizing shipments when needed
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each shift
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver certification with a clean driving record
- Proven delivery driver experience with familiarity in route planning and navigation
- Experience handling heavy lifting, moving items, or working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts if required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo repeatedly and perform heavy lifting safely
- Knowledge of safety protocols and traffic laws applicable to commercial driving
