Acquisitions Analyst - Newton, United States - Vaco

Vaco Boston has partnered with a boutique investment real estate firm in the Greater Boston Area and they are looking to hire an Acquisitions Analyst to their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and prepare computer models for potential acquisition targets utilizing Excel.
Research and analyze numerous markets appropriate for acquisition of multifamily rental properties. Gain intimate knowledge of those markets to be able to capitalize on opportunities in those markets.
Conduct due diligence activities involving lease analysis, shopping market competitors. Arrange third party reports such as market studies and property tax analysis.
Create and oversee RFPs for third party management of non-core business such as commercial leasing and commercial parking operations.
Participate in various analytical projects required in the Acquisition Department.
Prepare materials to present to company's senior leadership team
Assist in preparing reports to company ownership and institutional investment partners.
Maintain contact and relationships with potential deal sources including brokers, owners, and developers.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree required
3-6 years related work experience and/or training desired, but not required.
Fluency in and ability to, not only maintain, but to create Excel financial models and spreadsheets are essential.
Expert proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint required. Some Macro/VBA, OutlookSoft report writing and Argus background would be helpful
