    Duties


    • Formulate and integrates policy and planning for European Command (EUCOM) Web Operations (WebOps) support of USEUCOM.
    • Implement EUCOM WebOps policies and procedures for all MISO planning for current and contingency operations.
    • Leverage state-of-the-art social media techniques to improve the command's ability to reach audiences in the region with appropriate messages supporting USEUCOM objectives during crisis or provocation
    Requirements Conditions of Employment


    • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
    • Duties of this position require the employee to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
    • Position may require that employee pass screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and subsequent periodic drug screening thereafter.
    • This position is designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively.
    • The incumbent must be exempted from recall to active duty and will receive training to ensure mission accomplishment of sustaining base operations during mobilization (must also sign DD2365).
    • Member of Ready Reserve must be released from reserve status to go into Key essential positions.
    • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time
    Qualifications Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 2 years by a current permanent Army employee
    Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years
    Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted

    Specialized Experience:
    One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Formulating policy/guidance for Web Operations AND (2) Planning and/or coordinating Web Operations by monitoring and analyzing online information in areas such as politics, culture, and/or ethnicity
    This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11)

    For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted
