Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Optometric Technician to join our eye care team In this vital role you will be the first point of contact for patients providing exceptional care and support throughout their visitResponsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist with the intake process including collecting medical history and verifying insurance information
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure pulse and oxygen levels using proper aseptic technique as needed
- Prepare patients for eye examinations by performing preliminary testing including visual acuity assessments color vision testing confrontational fields
- Assist the optometrist with clinical tasks such as dilation tonometry other diagnostic tests using advanced EMR Electronic Medical Records Compulink system
