- Determines material requirements based on manufacturing plan and historical data
- Schedules, Requests (in coordination with Purchasing) and monitors inbound movement of materials toward planned inventory levels
- Implements materials inventory control i.e. materials receiving and storage.
- Ensures timely delivery of required materials to manufacturing lines.
- Develops and updates specifications for new material orders in coordination with Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing
- Maintain PFEP by monthly review
- Perform problem solving material flow and make needed PFEP adjustments to planning parameters
- Confirm buy part SSD acknowledgement based on system recommendations (ATP)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in materials planning for a manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational, statistical analysis and planning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with plant level of management and staff.
- Proficient with inventory reporting systems implementation e.g. MRP, BOM, SIOP, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required.
