    Facilities/Maintenance Manager in Morganton, NC

    On-Site Position

    Job Summary:

    Provides engineering expertise to ensure capital projects, preventive maintenance, and facility maintenance efforts support the continuous operation and new process needs of the Morganton facility. Meets and exceeds customer needs to the best of the incumbent's ability, in line with our philosophy that the customer is the #1 priority. Adheres to all departmental/company policies and standards to include (but not limited to): (1) maintains a neat, clean and safe work area; (2) maintains regular and consistent attendance; and (3) maintains positive working relationships.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provides Engineering support to manufacturing to maintain a 100% level of manufacturing readiness.
    • Supervises production maintenance personnel and/or contractors for the most efficient execution of maintenance, construction and repair projects.
    • Assists in designing, building, and installing process equipment.
    • Works with SCM Head, Production Management, and operators to enhance new designs and improve existing operations.
    • Assists in developing a process of operation definition in conjunction with the production staff.
    • Acts as a project manager to prepare project budget costs and completion timelines.
    • Orders technical/construction hardware for timely delivery on new projects.
    • Establishes and provides oversight to the Narrow Web Preventative Maintenance Program
    • Considers safety in design, work practices and plant operations.
    • Provides technical support for other departments and customers.
    • Responsible for disaster recovery planning.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    • B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of four years' experience within a manufacturing setting, preferably within the fluid processing industry or an Associate's Degree in a related field with 6 years of industry experience
