- Oversee and manage daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to create a secure working environment.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize overall business processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement inventory control measures.
- Monitor and improve warehouse layout and organization for optimal space utilization.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
- Utilize technology and warehouse management systems to enhance efficiency.
- Develop systems and organization to optimize warehouse processes.
- Resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, inventory discrepancies, or product damages.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
- Knowledge and experience in Shopify and related fulfillment software.
- Flexibility and experience working with a startup where we wear lots of hats.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and technology.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving aptitude with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time for yourself and a team efficiently.
