- This unit requires excellent critical thinking skills and quick decision making skills
- Due to the diverse nature this unit provides numerous educational opportunities for our coworkers.
- 32 - patient bed unit
- RN ratio 3-4 patients, with tech support
- 24/7 Leadership support
- Collaborate daily with Care Management team, RT, PT and OT, Lab, Pharmacy, Transport Team, and the OR
- Level 2 Trauma Center - the only one in the South County area
- Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Level 1 STEMI Center
- Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Certification in Heart Failure
- American Heart Association's Get With The Guidelines-Heart Failure Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
