- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvements based on assessment,
- Apply statistical methods and perform calculations to determine processes,
- Coordinate quality assurance objectives/activities to resolve production
- Provide technical support and direction regarding process and continuous
- Partner with engineering resources on new equipment/processes with
- Evaluate precision/accuracy of production/testing equipment and engineering
- Prepare test plans/reports such as capability studies, qualification and
- Provide key technical assistance on writing/executing test approvals and final
- Analyze statistical data/product specifications to determine standards and
- Use metrology/statistical methods to diagnose/correct improper quality
- When necessary provide on-site support and assistance to customers and
- Train others as needed
- Other functions as assigned
- Travel as necessary (less than 25%)

Functional Scope:
Responsible for all aspects of quality for the site including
direct leadership of the quality team and quality management system. Drive site
compliance to IATF standards. Ability to leverage a team-based approach with
customers, sales, quality, engineering and operations. Effectively communicate
directly with customers and suppliers. Drive continuous improvement
initiatives at the site to improve COPQ.
Position Specifications: 4-year degree in engineering/technical field and
minimum of 5 years quality management experience. Advanced knowledge and
application of quality tools for process and product controls / improvement
(SPC, Gage R&R, Process Capability, FMEA, DOE, 5 why, 6 sigma), in depth
knowledge of IATF standards, project management, highly technical/analytical,
negotiation skills, effective communication/leadership skills, high energy,
self-motivated, problem-solving skills, and PC/systems literacy.
