- Prepare and maintain the books and records including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, updating activity, maintaining the general ledger and preparing a monthly financial package.
- Manage all aspects of the monthly and annual reporting requirements, as well as year-end audit for multiple portfolios to deliver timely and accurate financial statements
- Assist with the AP process, credit card account reconciliation and cash/wire tracking
- Support Controller and Senior Accountant with special projects as needed
- Assist in driving change as needed to improve financials for the organization and/or to assist in the response to questions where required
- Provide accurate and timely accounting work while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Work with a small team and interact with all departments at Cascade - acquisitions, accounting, asset management etc.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Ability to think creatively and independently develop solutions to problems
- Motivated to learn and contribute to a positive team dynamic
- 1-3 years of Accounting Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Yardi experience a plus
