    VP Supply Corp is one of the nation's largest distributors of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies. We have over 350 employees with 16 locations across Western New York and Pennsylvania. For over 50 years, we have proudly served residential customers as well as contractors and municipalities across a variety of industries.

    Position Overview:

    Our team is seeking to hire a Janitor with at least 1 year of warehouse experience to join our Buffalo branch.

    This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, but the team is flexible with respect to working hours.

    Responsibilities:

    • Keep building in clean and orderly condition.
    • Cleaning assigned areas in a warehouse facility and throughout the store front. This includes removing debris and keeping areas neat and tidy.
    • Vacuum and buffs floors, shampoo carpets, empty trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans.
    • Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors and removing rubbish.
    • Clean and disinfect equipment as instructed.
    • Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
    • Mix various cleaning agents.
    • Notifying management of need of repairs.
    • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
    • Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
    • Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
    • Shovel snow from sidewalks and sprinkle salt on surface.
    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Must be able to understand English for Safety and learn sanitation procedures
    • Must have reliable daily transportation to branch location.

    Work Environment/Physical Demands:

    • This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
