    Description


    The Financial Analyst position will be responsible for driving timely and accurate financial plans and forecasts, providing analysis, and making recommendations to assist in decision-making.


    What You'll Do:
    Prepare monthly forecasts, charts, and analysis including financial metrics and Key Performance Indicators
    Prepare ad-hoc reports for Senior Management using Excel, PowerPoint, and Hyperion
    Collaborate with accounting and various department heads
    Work on special projects, as assigned
    Develop complex financial models to support management decision making relating to revenue and profit margin analysis
    Provide insights into reducing variability and driving down costs
    Measure financial results against budgets and forecasts

    Ability to maintain a high level of product knowledge across all business lines
    Advanced problem resolution and communication skills
    Strong decision-making abilities under tight deadlines
    Proven record of success in a goal-driven environment
    Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

    A capacity to learn the logistics/freight industry
    Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

    A passion for:
    creating models, developing interesting financial reports, working in Excel

    Requirements
    Advanced Excel skills
    Ability to analyze data, and translate analysis into specific, targeted actions to drive results
    Proficiency in working with complex and large volumes of data
    Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills
    Ability to work independently
    Excellent ability to manage to deadlines
    Experience working with Netsuite, Hyperion, SQL is a plus

    Preferred Education and Experience
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field
