    Job Overview:

    We are looking for a motivated and meticulous Quality Assurance Inspector to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will assess residential construction projects to ensure they meet quality benchmarks and adhere to regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in construction inspections and be well-versed in residential building practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform daily inspections at residential job sites to confirm compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
    • Examine construction activities including trenching, conduit installation, grounding, structural mounting, and equipment placement.
    • Verify that contractors comply with approved specifications, codes, and client expectations.
    • Document inspection outcomes with detailed notes, reports, and photographs.
    • Identify and communicate deficiencies or deviations and propose corrective actions to the relevant team.
    • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and utility representatives to address field issues efficiently.
    • Ensure the appropriate handling and usage of materials and equipment on-site.
    • Maintain organized records of all inspections and related communications.
    • Travel to various job sites as necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in field inspection, construction, or utility-related work (OSP/telecom/electrical experience is a plus).
    • Strong understanding of residential construction processes and safety standards.
    • Able to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specifications.
    • Comfortable working outdoors and navigating sites in all weather conditions.
    • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a proactive stance on issue identification and resolution.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.

    Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (1099 Sub-Contractor)
    Pay: $21-$25 per hour (commensurate with experience)
    Expected Hours: 40 per week
    Schedule: 8-hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday
    Work Location: Field-based (on the road; residential job sites)
