    The Associate Account Manager works directly with the Account Director and National Account Managers to support key strategic account initiatives including the development, qualification, and execution of new products, mix enhancements, new programs, etc.

  • Meets and exceeds sales plans in alignment with customers annualized sales plan
  • Assist and/or lead key projects focused on the success of the account
  • Uses strong problem-solving skills to assist in the analysis and resolution of problems
  • Liaison/contact for the Merchant key support teams for local projects and test sets
  • Facilitates commercial planning meetings with customer
  • Weekly and project specific POS data pulls and analysis
  • Understands and maintains knowledge of customer systems
  • Analyzes and manages all customer system reports to better understand, plan, and manage all door category initiatives
  • Master pack item maintenance and data pull coordination with ecommerce
  • Assist with pre-PCR alignment meetings and maintain data to assist with successful implementation of PCR's
  • Assist with customer special order catalog testing management, accuracy and communication of changes
  • Co-ordinate monthly Operation meeting
  • Lead communications of account activities with field teams and customer service
  • Key communicator for all internal plants and DFS facilities on promotional events, new program launches, quality issues/opportunities, and customer problem resolution
  • Communicates necessary corrections to pricing, SKU and product mix data for in store and online business
  • Manage and follow through on all customer issues and opportunities by working with appropriate internal and customer resources
  • Acts as a liaison between customer and Masonite Facilities and Warranty Department to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintains key files, spreadsheets, and lists for the organization
  • Schedules project service request for retail accounts and ensure effective execution
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 1+ years Masonite or 3+ years external business experience in sales, business administration, or account management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Successful track record in sales as a highly organized individual who can creatively solve problems, multi-task and make strategic choices that drive growth
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Thrives in a team based work environment
