    Your Responsibilities

    As a Supply Management Specialist for John Deere Harvester Works located in East Moline, IL, you will:
    • Implement division sourcing strategies and integrate suppliers in supporting the Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP)
    • Maintain an ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve supplier performance; measure the performance of the supplier and define corrective actions; obtain assistance from other functional representatives such as quality, product engineering, material flow, safety, and manufacturing
    • Engage suppliers and internal stakeholders in the development of risk mitigation strategies and supply chain problem resolution ensuring a continuity of supply to meet factory production goals
    • Develop and execute inventory plans to achieve inventory/asset management aligned with factory goals; resolve shipping, receiving, invoicing and payment problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers

    What Skills You Need
    • Understanding of Order Fulfillment Process
    • Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiations, and conflict resolution
    • Knowledge of unit processes and operations
    • Work experience in a team environment
    What Makes You Stand Out
    • 2 or more years of experience in supply management or similar discipline
    • 1 or more years of experience in factory Supply Management SAP
    • Material Flow / Material Coordinator experience
    Education

    Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Accounting/Finance, Engineering, or equivalent related work experience
