- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
- New Mexico State Board license
- New Mexico Public Education Department license
- Conduct evaluations to determine if children have occupational therapy needs and ascertain appropriate services.
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (I.E.P.) meetings for potential and current cases.
- Create written implementation plans for I.E.P. goals in collaboration with other professionals.
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and other relevant individuals regarding assigned cases.
- Regularly assess and report on the progress of students in the caseload.
- Maintain and update instructional materials in collaboration with special education teachers.
- Supervise the assigned COTA
- Submit necessary reports on a weekly basis
- Any other duties as assigned.
