    Admin Project Coordinator Position Summary:

    • This position is responsible for managing and coordinating a variety of department projects, activities, reports, schedules along with collection and management of data.
    • Responsible for maintaining all of the procedural and administrative aspects of training program and any designated project. Serves as the designated point-of-contact for program issues.
    • Projects to include but not limited to: overseeing the assessment and evaluation processes and detailed analysis that leads to recommendations.
    • Supports the PA Surgical & Critical Care PA Residency programs which run from October to October each year.
    • Responsibilities include assistance with recruitment of physician assistants; organizing applicant files and interviews.
    • Responsible for onboarding new physician assistants including support during licensing and credentialing phase.
    • Organizes and coordinates weekly education for residency programs which includes securing a location, communicating with faculty, and setting up for lectures and activities.
    • Responsible for payroll submissions, file organization, collection and collation of program and trainee evaluations.
    • Support for accreditation application and maintenance.
    • Support Physician assistants and program directors throughout the year.
    • Support Director of Advanced Practice and team members with recruitment and credentialing for new providers.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree required. Eight years of proven experience in specific jobs that require a high level of critical thinking and accountability may substitute for degree.

    Work Experience:

    • Requires 2 years related experience at the administrative level to prepare complex reports, analyze data and solve problems with a high level of accountability and critical thinking (Eight years without a Bachelor's degree).
    • Able to obtain a comprehensive understanding of departmental and Hospital policies and procedures, budget verification and analysis, spreadsheets and database management.
    • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information and situations.
