We're currently hiring Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our team. This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. We plan for 2 in person work-days per week, and you are welcome to come in other days. The office is located very close to Salesforce transit center.

What you'll do:

• Develop back-end application using Typescript (and potentially other languages such as Python / Go)
• Work with cloud functions using Lambda and Dynamodb
• Extend leading edge LLM frameworks like Autogen
• Tune, train, evaluate, and run LLMs in a production environment
• Develop distributed workflow systems
• Design and develop API
• Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, well documented and maintainable code
• Consider how best to accelerate your and the team's work with AI assisted tools and processes

What you need to succeed:

• Demonstrated expertise building and scaling back-end applications
• 5+ years of strong experience building and maintaining high complexity web apps that have gone to production and seen the fire of real world usage
• Foundational solid skills in one or more programming languages (Typescript, Go, Kotlin)
• Functional programming experience
• NoSQL experience, optimally on Dynamo
• Experience building APIs and OpenAPI specs
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Bonus: have previously built a Platform as a Service (PaaS)
• Bonus: experience with AWS services
• Bonus: experience working with LLMs
