    Job Title: Windows Patch Management Consultant

    Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

    Duration: 6+ Months (Extendable)

    Job Description:

    Required Skills:

    Should have 4+ years experience with strong proficiency in Windows Patch Management with tools like

    SCCM, BigFix

    • Should have strong experience in SCCM current branch with knowledge in Windows Server
    • 2012/2016/2019/2022 Operating Systems
    • Experience working with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory on large enterprises
    • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP
    • Good knowledge of Windows Imaging/OS deployment using tools like MDT/SCCM/BigFix.
    • Manage/administer SCCM servers globally.
    • Should have deep knowledge in software distribution, Patch Management using SCCM / BigFixon Windows servers and Workstations.
    • Should have hands-on experience on Microsoft Windows Server OS Roles & Features installation, troubleshooting & installation
    • Must be well versed with Remote Desktop Services
    • Provide support to end users for SCCM client troubleshooting, software deployment and software update deployment issues.
    • Validate hot fixes for Windows Vista, Win 7, Win 8; compatibility checks of application with Vista, 7, 8, 10 operating system.
    • Deploy fixes to the workstations, via SCCM and troubleshoot software distribution issues
    • Detailed debugging of SCCM client issues related incidents
    • Should have knowledge on Application Deployment.
    • Work with packaging, application team to gather requirements for Application packaging and follow it up by creating a SCCM package.
    • Knowledge of WMI Classes.
    • Basic understanding of Vulnerability Management tools like Nessus, Tenable etc. including National Vulnerability Database.
    • Log file knowledge, MDT/Query knowledge.
    • Should be able to generate custom reports using sql queries
    • Participate in standard image development, management, QA testing, and deployment.
    • Experience in SCCM packaging, AD/DNS/DHCP & Group Policy.
    • Software Packaging automation tools, Basic VB and Power shell scripting skills desired.
    • In depth knowledge in Managing SCCM infrastructure & troubleshooting.
    • Performing day-to-day monitoring of the SCCM Infrastructure.
    • Exposure in security patch processes and Software Updates.
    • Excellent understanding of Patch management, S/w Distribution and Application Deployment
    • Knowledge of Scripting (PowerShell) would be added advantage.
    • Install, configure, troubleshoot, patch, operate and manage SCCM on Windows
    • Develop and implement testing strategies and document results
    • Troubleshoot and resolve comple problems
    • Experience managing Windows servers patch management platform such as SCCM. BigFix
    • Platform Patch Management tasks include maintaining current knowledge of available patches, deciding what patches are appropriate for particular systems, ensuring that patches are install properly.
    • Testing systems after installation, and documenting all associated procedures
    • Able to support multiple networks
    • Ensure necessary administration tasks are completed
    • Should be proficient in Windows OS support
    • Should have good troubleshooting skills for Windows OS issues
    • Experience with SCCM and Windows OS administration is preferred
    • Test new releases of patches to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact
    • Should have good communication skill
