Description
Performs a variety of routine and/or low-mid dollar value buying/purchasing tasks involving materials, supplies, or servicesReviews purchase requisitions and places orders with approved suppliers
Evaluates bids, selects and/or recommends suppliers, and negotiates price, delivery, quality, and service
Manages and orders office supplies for work location
Assists in negotiations for major purchases by developing or compiling statistical information and other data as required
Interfaces with company executives, program managers, engineers, and infrastructure managers in accounting, property, security, shipping/receiving, information technology, facilities, and contracting to perform duties and resolve questions on procurement issues
Backs up and supports procurement managers in preparation, management, and closeout of subcontracts and consulting agreements, as requested and assigned
Assists in collecting, compiling, and reporting procurement metrics
Participates in continuous improvement program, recommends process and technique changes, and assists in implementation
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with databases
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations
Experience with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
