Description:

Responsible for delivery of end to end application, system development and maintenance on complex multi technology platforms within assigned client group, business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings. Owns the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary. Provides technical advice and weighs in on technical decisions that impact cross functional teams. Researches and may propose new technologies. Develops and owns list of final enhancements. Develops and defines application scope and objectives and prepares technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written. Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.

May own technical testing to ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.

Assesses current status and supports data information planning. Coordinates on-call support and ensures effective monitoring of system. Maintains technical development environment. Mentors others and may lead multiple or small to medium sized projects. Will begin to set direction at the project/service level and influences decision-making. Provides technical guidance, and mentoring. Understands the tradeoffs between technical, analytical and product needs of the technical solutions. Identifies and propose strategies around technical problems affecting team, communicates standards and gets buy-in on solutions. Facilitates group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues. Supports vendor evaluation.

Requires BA/BS degree in related field or technical institute training and 5 or more years related experience; multi platform experience; , expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, lead multiple small projects and provide troubleshooting support. Multi dimensional required. Multi database and/or multi language preferred.

POSITIONS:
Cloud DevOps Engineer - AI Platform Portfolio Enablement and Cloud Migration Services - Candidates

will have the responsibility to assist application teams in migrating and managing applications on the cloud. Must be proficient in AWS Cloud, and it would be advantageous to have experience with GCP Cloud.

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate Cloud DevOps Engineer who is eager to self-learn and be available to partner with multiple teams across enterprise to keep the cloud applications and services up and running.

Must be a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and inclusive work environment.


Responsibilities:

• Supports the application teams in their migration to AWS Cloud.
• Manages the applications once migrated to the cloud.
• Collaborates with the development, enterprise cloud operations, security, & privacy teams to streamline the Production and DR processes.
• Contributes to team efforts in implementing and managing DevOps technologies.
• Performs POC on new cloud based products and services.
• Exhibits a thorough understanding of cloud architecture and administration.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Proficient in AWS Cloud technologies, python scripting, & systems administration.
• Hands on familiarity configuring technologies such as EKS, Terraform, Airflow, Jenkins, ArgoCD, EMR, Spark, Snowflake, RabitMQ, Splunk, DataDog, etc.
• Proven experience in Cloud Support, DevOps using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes.
• Ability to communicate technical information logically and clearly to non technical people.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies, experiment and perform POC.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge on other cloud platforms like GCP is a plus.

Must be proficient in developing high-quality web applications and designing scalable and reliable cloud-based APIs. Must be driven and innovative experts in this field who possess a passion for creating well-scaled and efficient APIs. Must be a self-starter who thrives in an inclusive work environment.


Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement high quality web applications.
• Create, manage, and scale backend APIs on cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

• Extensive experience as a Full Stack Webapp Engineer.
• In depth proficiency in Javascript NodeJS, Python FastAPI, GraphQL, NoSQL, and SQL.
• Experience in database management systems like DocumentDB/MongoDB, Snowflake, Redis.
• Significant experience in scaling backend APIs on AWS and Kubernetes cloud.
• Proven knowledge of API gateways, and technologies like Apigee, AWS Lambda, etc.
• Knowledge with enterprise cloud infrastructure tools like, Splunk, DataDog, Terraform, etc.
• Experience with front end web technologies like React, Angular, Streamlit is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge on other cloud platforms like GCP is a plus
