    Faculty Position Information The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor or Instructor for the academic year for our location at ACU-Dallas.

    Responsibilities include teaching or facilitating graduate courses for graduate students in the instructor's area(s) of expertise; supervising clinical practicum; serving on departmental, college and university committees. Preferred areas of expertise in child language, autism, and/or pediatric feeding/swallowing disorders. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to engage in research and scholarship in areas of expertise.

    The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

    Qualifications Earned doctorate preferred with strong consideration of ABD candidates in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a closely related area. Applicants must hold a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and hold (or be eligible for) a current Texas SLP license.
