    Title: Business/Budget Analyst

    We are looking for a skilled Business/Budget Analyst to join our team at FHFA. If you have experience in financial budgeting in a government setting and familiarity with PRISM, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!

    In this role, you will be supporting the office of Business Operations Branch at FHFA by enhancing branch operations to be more effective, efficient, and compliant with internal and external policies. Your main focus will be providing business operations support to improve processes within the branch.

    • Develop spend plans for OCOO offices serviced by the BOB at the beginning of each fiscal year, maintaining weekly updates and providing summaries to management.
    • Conduct monthly reconciliation of expenditures and analyze budget reports to ensure accuracy.
    • Generate adhoc reports from multiple systems and compile information for review.
    • Enter and approve goods and services in FHFA's financial system (PRISM).
    • Prepare documentation and reports for executive meetings and budget status updates.
    • Coordinate with contracting officers and program managers to resolve payment problems and invoice discrepancies.
    • Provide administrative and operational support services to the BOB manager and staff regarding budget processes.
    • Assist with data calls and support staff with complex business operation issues.
    • Review business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and present recommendations for reengineering.
    • Conduct monthly reconciliation of purchase card transactions and maintain accurate record keeping.
