Meat Trimmer - Vernon - Employee Force Provider

Description

Meat processing company in Industry now hiring meat trimmers with experience.

2nd shift: 10am start time

Monday - Friday / must be open to work overtime & weekends

Requirements
Must have recent meat trimming & butchery experience.
Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs.
Must be able to Stand for up to 10-12 hrs.
Must be able to work around raw meat.


Responsibilities:
Trims and customizes portions of meat products using knives or other meat productions equipment.
Count and stack on tray portions per customer and company specifications.
Label portion with supplied number product labels.
Set up cutting room as required.
Keep cutting room and surrounding area clean and sanitized.
Follow company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain sanitary conditions.
Work continually in a refrigerated environment 35 F- 45 F.
Remove excess waste trays to the dump bins.
Palletize boxes of Meat
Miscellaneous other duties as assigned.
Prepare raw material box for trimming including defrost.
Monitor meat condition and report any irregularities to team lead and supervisors immediately.
