    Details:

    The student engagement & sustainability marketing specialist will oversee all marketing, advertising, and student engagement for Newton Public Schools.

    This includes traveling locally to different schools in the district as needed.


    Requirement:
    Previous experience in community engagement, sustainability, and marketing. Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to present in front of large groups. Bachelors degree in sustainability or marketing is a plus.

    Youwill work directly with the resident district manager to implement exciting new promotions and events at your schools that drive participation.

    From marketing support leading up to events to flawless execution, including nutrition education and culinary support, the Community Engagement Specialist ensures that all students will learn and have fun in the cafeteria.

    This individual will drive student engagement with positive interactions with students, visiting each school in the district. You will collaborate with on-site operations, culinary, and nutrition team members to execute student experience programs. Areas of responsibility include student and community engagement, nutrition education programs, sustainability, and hospitality.

    You will partner with the school district's communication team to engage and inform key stakeholders - clients, school staff, parents, and students.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    Execute marketing programs in partnership with operators and regional support teams to ensure continued engagement from student, clients and communities Train and support operators in the implementation of student-facing and front-of-house programs, systems, and processes Customize marketing materials - e.g.

    social media posts, flyers, brochures, and client presentations - and coordinate with district communications teams to execute Providing content for newslettersConduct focus groups to understand what students and parents are looking for in the school meal program and identify areas for improvement Keep parents, faculty, and administrators updated and informed about the nutrition programAssess the front-of-house operations for the student experience, operating standards, and signature programs being in place, and work with operators to monitor results and improve over time Collect data and report on return on investment and key performance metricsMaintaining and advertising calendar of eventsSending updates on Nutrislice menu softwareAssociates at Chartwells K-12are offered many fantastic benefits.
