Financial Planner, MidThat's why we need you, a financial analyst who can navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure the Department of Defense's resources can make the most impact.
As a financial analyst on our team, you'll support Joint Force Development by providing expertise in highly specialized financial, programmatic, and business analysis environment to support senior management business decisions.
You will apply specific functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, data entry, and analysis of data, and knowledge of program management and finance.
You'll participate in the identification, analysis, and evaluation of policy and processes related to DoD Training initiatives.You will plan, coordinate, and support meetings and planning events involving worldwide participants to improve use of joint training resources.
You'll contribute to the resolution of complex programmatic and financial problems using analytic judgment and proven analytic practices.This is an opportunity for you to learn the laws, regulations, and policies that will help your client develop well-formed requirements.
Once the funding is in place, you'll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with Joint Force senior leadership.

3+ years of experience with support to military headquarters in Program Financial Management
Experience with financial execution of a spend plan within a Department of Defense organization, including analysis of obligation plans vs obligations
Experience with monthly financial reporting
Experience with financial programming for Operations, Maintenance, Research and Development, and Test and Evaluation funding
Experience with business and accounting processes and policy
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, O365, and Microsoft Excel
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of experience with financial execution in lieu of a degree
Knowledge of pertinent laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to joint training programs and related resources
Ability to interpret the intent of a client's needs effectively and help to shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities
Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery
Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
