    is looking for a

    Senior Product Manager

    to join the Startpage team and focus on growing the Startpage product and brand.

    This role will be responsible for leading the development of the Startpage tech platform, and close collaboration with several auxiliary teams.

    Startpage was founded in 2006 in The Netherlands, and has grown to become the world's most private search engine. Our mission is to make searching the Internet as secure and private as possible.

    We provide a more private alternative to search engines that track your searches and personal data or only show filtered, personalized results.

    The ideal Startpage team member is highly motivated, accustomed to a fast-paced environment, passionate about data privacy, and able to think from the perspective of a product's users.


    The Role You Will Have:
    Lead the product vision, strategy, and evolution of Startpage to become a first-rate search experience with strong global brand recognition
    Manage the day-to-day technical and design direction, leading with a constant privacy-first and user-focused mindset
    Work closely with engineering teams to design, build, launch, test, and optimize the Startpage search engine and product suite in order to maximize new user adoption and business KPIs
    Develop and launch the Startpage consumer mobile app that is integrated with the Startpage backend and data systems
    Deliver an outstanding local search, maps, and navigation that helps Startpage users discover nearby businesses, explore new places, and efficiently navigate their surroundings with privacy and confidence
    Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our spam bot detection solutions, aligning with Startpage's privacy principles
    Proficiency in engaging with both internal and external technical stakeholders to oversee intricate integrations with search providers and third-party vendors, establish objectives, and successfully execute on project deliverables
    Take point in collaborating with marketing, customer support, and traffic quality teams

    What You Will Bring:

    5+ years of product management or equivalent technical experience
    Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
    Experience in SQL, Tableau (or other data visualization tool), Excel, Google Analytics, etc.
    Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced work environment
    Experience launching consumer mobile app products and expanding the consumer base are highly preferred
    Experience in consumer research and insights, both qualitative and quantitative preferred
    Experience designing or working with API products is preferred
    Experience building consumer software preferred
    Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment preferred
    Computer Science degree or Engineering background preferred
    Previous involvement in privacy and/or consumer brands a plus

    The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is

    $138,400 -$192,300

    System1 offers flexible work arrangements for most employees (unless they hold positions which are identified as having to be 100% onsite in Marina del Rey, CA, Bellevue, WA or Guelph, ON Canada).

    Most System1 full-time employees choose to work in a hybrid environment, splitting their time between working in our offices and working remotely.

    System1 allows fully-remote work in the following approved locations: Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

    Prospective U.S.
