    Description

    Provides inpatient general neurology and stroke care via consultative or primary service in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including residents and advanced practice providers, as well as an ambulatory clinic for stroke patients.

    Supports education, clinical research, and system-wide quality and value-based care initiatives. Participates in case reviews and morbidity and mortality conferences involving neurology, stroke, trauma, neurosurgery, and oncology cases. Works closely with the Medical Director to ensure comprehensive coverage and high-quality, cost-effective patient care.

    Supports compliance with regulatory standards, including The Joint Commission requirements, and contributes to clinical quality improvement efforts within the Neuroscience service line.

    Works at hospitals and health centers in Newark and Wilmington, DE.

    Requires a Medical Degree or foreign equivalent, completion of a 4-year Neurology residency program, Board Certification in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and Delaware state medical license.
