    Job Title:     Buyer/Puchaser

    Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91320

    Duration: 07 Months Contract

    Hours: 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM (Mon - Fri)
    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Procures materials and services with proper consideration for just-in-time delivery, proper quantity, and at a competitive cost.
    • Coordinates with cross functional discipline actions necessary to execute production plans
    • Communicates delivery issues directly with internal/external customers
    • Visits suppliers' facilities to qualify them as new sources and assists in the resolution of production, design, quality, and/or delivery problems.
    Qualifications:
    • 3+ years buying experience and 4-year degree or equivalent.
    • CPIM a plus.
    • Excellent analytical skills.
    • Self-directed, entrepreneurial, customer focused individual with the ability to work effectively as a team.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Maintain a positive attitude in a very fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to assist with process improvement.
    • Identify cost-savings opportunities.
    • Solid working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
    • Knowledge and prior use of MRP systems.
