W2 Contract, 9 Months (Likely Extension / Possible Conversion)
This is a hybrid position - two to three days onsite in Baltimore, MD and the remaining days remote.

There may be some travel required to other client locations in the mid-Atlantic and Chicago to work directly with end users.

This would be infrequent and reimbursed.

Overview

Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager to perform, manage, and document work activities related to projects, sub-projects, or processes.

The role involves planning, designing, and building high-quality IT software solutions in alignment with standards, while also maintaining and enhancing engagement with business and IT partners as well as other stakeholders.

Utilizing a deep understanding of the customer's business needs, the Technical Support Specialist will determine requirements and ensure that solutions effectively meet these needs.

Required Skills & Experience

Associate's degree in a related area and 5+ years of experience.

Experience and skills with IT infrastructure and application technologies, such as Web/Application (.NET/Java), Websphere or Weblogic, relational database (Oracle, SQL Server), Microsoft Windows (Desktop/Server), Unix/Linux operating systems, Scripting, SQL, and other technical tools.

Ability to apply technical expertise to plan, design, build or support required products and processes.
Strong problem-solving skills
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, based on business needs.

Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with Passport/Asset Suite.
Experience supporting handheld devices, including end user support.
