    Electrician - Tampa, FL

    Are you an independent, self-motivated person looking for a career with a stable company that offers above industry average pay? Then this excellent career opportunity may be for you Traffic Management Solutions is one of the fastest growing specialty contractors in Florida and is currently looking for candidates with electrical experience.

    Electrical crews primarily work on electrical and communication cabinets and technology installations along highways and roadways throughout Florida.

    We are looking for a person with a positive can do attitude to successfully complete the installation of all components related to electrical scopes of work with a strong emphasis on safe practices and quality workmanship.

    Interested candidates having experience or possessing an active Journeyman or Masters Electrician license are strongly encouraged to apply.


    Successful candidates will possess:
    Previous professional experience in a variety of electrical construction activities and be proficient using an assortment of tools and equipment

    Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose causes of electrical problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair.

    Ability to inspect electrical systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance
    Experience installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting/power systems
    Familiarity with electrical construction practices including threading, bending, and pulling/removing wire.
    Experience with installing conduit and cable tray systems
    Ability to identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards.
    Ability to read drawings of electrical systems for the purpose of determining the efficient installation of new or upgraded systems
    Prior experience performing related duties

    Previous experience working on roadways, including Management of Traffic (MOT) training and certification, and/or an active CDL Class A or B is a plus.


    Compensation:
