- Promotes and up-sells liquor and food
- Must be completely familiar with all the different kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of drinks, proper glassware and garnishes
- Follows guidelines established in regard to age identification for suspected minors and when dealing with an intoxicated customer
- Must be familiar with cash handling procedures to include proper discounting, Micros system, bank procedures and tip policies
- Attend required meetings
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
- Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
- Maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions.
- Maintain a current CA food handlers card and Alcohol Service Certification
- Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor

CIELO BARBACK
Ideal candidate will prepare all drinks for bar customers, cocktail servers and food servers while providing guests with professional, efficient service and quality-made beverages.
You will also but not limited to:
Standing/walking: Constantly. Various surfaces including carpet, tile, and rubber mats.
Crouching (bend at knees): Frequently. Serve drinks at table, lift beer kegs, stock liquor and other supplies.
Stooping (bend at waist): Constantly. Stock supplies, mix drinks, obtain supplies.
Twisting (knees, waist, neck): Frequently. Take orders, maneuver through crowds, serve orders.
Balancing: Constantly. Handle trays of food or beverage; hold glasses and other beverage containers behind bar
Reaching (overhead/extension): Frequently. Obtain overhead supplies. Serve at arm's length.
Handling/grasping: Constantly. Trays of food and beverage, glassware, beverage containers, ice scoop.
Fingering/feeling: Constantly. Write, cash handling, cash register, adding machine, and drink garnishes.
Pushing/pulling: Occasionally. Move chairs, tables. Average weight: 10 lbs. force. Maximum weight: 20 lbs. force.
Lifting/carrying: Constantly. Beer tubs, food and beverage trays, ice buckets, refuse containers, supplies, beer kegs. Average weight 20 lbs. Maximum weight: 160 lbs. (assisted with handcart or coworker)

Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel.
