    Lead Electrical Engineer

    located in

    Henrico, VA.
    Reporting to the

    Director of Engineering

    the

    Lead Electrical Engineer

    will be based in

    Henrico, VA


    will manage a team of Electrical Engineers responsible for providing a range of technical support for sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products/systems as per specifications.


    What a typical day looks like:
    In this role you will lead a team of Electrical Engineers providing high level product design and throughout the entire process (sales, product, manufacturing installation and technical support)
    Organize, coach and develop team to provide strong support for customer inquiries, field team and other technical product related.
    Organize and allocate responsibilities for project development and design.

    Develop electrical designs including:
    single line diagrams, bills of material &, wiring lists.
    Develop and supervise factory/on-site acceptance test plans.
    Create technical proposal and product description documents.
    Fosters the electrical safety culture in the department and throughout the company
    Oversee life cycle engineering activities, technical reviews, issue resolution and product description documentation
    The experience we're looking to add to our team,
    Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
    Minimum of 7 years of power distribution experience.

    Candidates must be able to understand electrical system diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and be able to perform troubleshooting in accordance with Test Engineer/Shift Test Engineer documentation when required.

    Demonstrated proficiency in or with programs similar to Autocad Electrical and various MS Office applications.
    Excellent organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and multitasking capability.

    Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
    Demonstrable knowledge of UL 891 Switchboards, UL 1558 Metal-Enclosed Low-Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Switchgear, UL 67 Panelboards, UL 857 Busway, UL 1008 Transfer Switch Equipment, UL 62368/60950 Information Technology Equipment, as applicable
