    The Director of Basketball Operations at UNC Asheville will assist the Head Coach in all organizational aspects of the program.

    The ideal candidate will exhibit character traits of integrity, servant-leadership, work ethic, creativity, and respect for others and passion for their work in college athletics.

    Required Education/Experience/Skills

    Bachelor's degree. Prior experience working or playing at the collegiate level. High level of interpersonal skills to handle personal and confidential situations. Knowledge of office software applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time sensitive demands.

    Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

    Master's degree preferred. Demonstrated understanding of NCAA Division I rules.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    This position requires possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to assist and administer all organizational facets of a NCAA Division I basketball team in a manner that upholds the philosophy and objectives of the Athletics Department and the University including but not limited to team travel, budget management, fund raising, and community relations.

    Adheres to all policies and procedures of the Athletics Department and the University, as well as the rules and regulations of the NCAA and Big South Conference.

    Requires the ability to communicate effectively and to manage multiple tasks.
