We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team for a full-time, 1 year contract at a prestigious medical facility in Ashtabula, OH.

As a Physician Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with disorders and diseases of the digestive system. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including but not limited to Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and liver disease.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific conditions

Perform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders

Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care to patients

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, nutritionists, and surgeons, to provide comprehensive care to patients

Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients

Stay current on advancements and developments in the field of gastroenterology through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school

Valid medical license in the state of Ohio

Board certification in Gastroenterology

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Gastroenterologist

Strong diagnostic and treatment skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities as needed
