    Position Summary:


    Oversees the management of branch resources and staff; directs, manages and develops branch employees for success; develops and attains sales goals; delivers exceptional customer service to bank customers/clients; ensures compliance with operational controls, policies, procedures and processes; compliance with bank policies and related laws and regulations.


    Essential Functions:
    Responsible for daily branch operations, sales management and staff development of a retail branch.
    Establishes and maintains a culture within the branch of service and support to internal and external customers.

    Handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion; strict adherence to established policy and procedures, and thorough knowledge and understanding of branch operational procedures to maintain branch security.

    Develops and executes branch sales strategies to maximize revenues.
    Demonstrates leadership in the supervision of the day-to-day operations of the branch.
    Processes and approves consumer loans within established loan authority.
    Processes small business loans.
    Provides quality customer service in support of relationship management.
    Applies sales management and organizational skills in support of the bank's relationship management strategy.
    Support branch production and growth goals.
    Achieves assigned sales goals.
    Conducts weekly sales meetings, clinics and huddles.
    Exercises effective talent management & leadership of branch employees to include coaching, counseling and performance reviews.
    Attends meetings and training, as required.
    Represents OPNB at designated community functions and events. Uses opportunities wisely to promote the bank and to develop new business.
    Adheres to SAFE Act requirements when acting as a (MLO) mortgage loan originator.
    Performs all work in compliance with applicable regulations/policy and procedures

    Accountable for the understanding of and adherence to operational controls, policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with bank policies and related laws and regulations.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities):

    Thorough knowledge of banking products and services.
    Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to distill and convey information in a compelling manner.
    Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to learn job specific software applications.
    Skill in sales management and relationship management strategies.
    Skill in motivating employees and managing performance.
    Skill in analyzing situations and applying critical thinking in order to resolve problems and decide on courses of action.
    Skill in discovering and working to meet underlying needs; following through on questions, requests, complaints.
    Skill in adopting technological advancements and facilitating into current and future responsibilities
    Ability to anticipate, monitor, and meet the needs of customers and respond in an appropriate manner.
    Ability to make timely, informed decisions that take into account the facts, goals, constraints, and risks.

    Ability to build and maintain effective and constructive working relationships, partnerships or networks of contacts with people who are instrumental in achieving work-related goals.

    Maintain registration with the federal registry system (NMLS) and maintain a status in good standing under the SAFE ACT requirements which includes maintaining the unique identifier number if acting as a MLO.


    Education/Experience:
    High School graduate or GED with post-graduate studies in business, banking or finance.
    Minimum 2 years retail branch banking experience.
    Minimum 2 years' experience supervising and developing employees.
    Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales and/or loan goals.
