We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented attorney to assume primary ownership of mission-critical functions in sales and a variety of legal areas, focusing on technology contracting.
Contract Review/Sales Supportcontract database and legal records
with Sales and Finance to finalize agreements, construct complex rate plans, and address ad hoc legal questions
approvals and collaborate with our paralegal to coordinate contract execution
and update legal documents for the sale and delivery of SaaS products
and track paperwork for new stock option grants, option exercises, and send out year-end tax notices
complex capitalization structure and respond to management and stockholder requests for information
global legal entity maintenance with the support of our paralegal
D. from an accredited law school and are a member of the Illinois Bar
Are a self-starter, well-organized and eager to master technology tools, including a contract lifecycle management system
Can communicate your opinions with confidence to stakeholders across the organization, yet know your limits and when to ask for help
Are committed to working in our downtown Chicago office 5 days/week
Should be able to do some domestic and international travel for the company (1-3 times per year)
