Job summary
This role will be responsible for all installs repairs troubleshooting testing and maintaining the operation of electrical equipment in a manufacturing facility.The individual will be expected to perform a wide variety of electrical maintenance
and repair work on production machinery including mechanical and plumbing work
To install repair troubleshoot maintain equipment in the plant.
The role requires strong mechanical aptitude general electric motor knowledge HP,
general computer skills required Microsoft Office strong communication organizational skills ability to lift/move 50lbs High School diploma or equivalent experience level Mechanical knowledge:5 years Preferred Electrical knowledge:5 years Required Work hours:7:00 AM-3:30 PM OT as needed Start up support as needed
- Maintain accurate record keeping of work orders
- Ensure electrical equipment is prepared for operation following protocols procedures
- Troubleshoot electrical motors perform Electrical Tests Testing Windings for Shorts Opens Ground Faults Phase Unbalance Phase Rotation Testing Forward/Reverse Motor Starters mechanical issues Generate plans make repairs
- Install conduit wiring Ensure projects tasks PMs executed time Complete scheduled preventive maintenance equipment/facility items document PM program Follow all safety policies lock-out/tag out procedures OSHA requirements daily activities Notify Maintenance Manager low equipment supply inventory levels Meet critical deadlines fast-paced manufacturing environment Use hand tools power tools precision measuring testing instruments repair maintain equipment On-call services may required emergencies lockouts nights weekends Other duties assigned
