    Join the dynamic team at our Performance Automotive Client, a global leader in their space. They are seeking a Electro-Mechanical Testing/Calibration Technician to play a crucial role in maintaining the exceptional quality of their product line.

    Direct Hire - San Diego - On-Site - Performance Automotive


    The client is building out a team and will decide on if it will be CTH or Direct Hire at point of interview.

    65-100K Bonus Other benefits

    35-50/Hour Bonus Other Benefits


    Primary Responsibilities:
    Conduct precise testing and calibration of torque sensor systems using electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic torsion testers.

    Set up machinery, install fixtures, and execute test sequences, ensuring accurate data acquisition.

    Oversee production processes, including demagnetization, magnetization, mechanical and environmental testing, and sensor system calibration.


    Collaborate with engineers to analyze data, document findings, and enhance calibration and testing processes for improved efficiency and product performance.


    Key Tasks:
    Evaluate and enhance sensor performance based on various parameters.

    Operate, maintain, and upgrade major equipment and associated subsystems.

    Perform R&D testing on new product features, supporting design and development engineers.

    Physically assemble deliverable sensor systems, including mechanical and electronic components.

    Participate in failure analyses, conduct diagnostic and validation testing, and contribute to detailed report writing.

    Requirements:

    2 years of full-time experience in a related role.

    Background in mechanical testing and data acquisition preferred.

    Experience with control systems, automated machinery, or data acquisition setups.

    Strong concern for safety and quality.

    Proficiency with LabVIEW, MTS Test Suite, or Python preferred.

    Detail-oriented with mechanical, electrical, and software skills.

    Familiarity with wiring harness assembly protocols.

    Knowledge of adhesives, soldering, and general machine shop skills.

    Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

    Understanding of sensor or instrumentation calibration protocols.
