Description

We are currently working with an advanced subsurface intelligence and analytics company who is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Monitor and resolve issues with network and infrastructure to ensure optimal availability and performance.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined integration and deployment processes.
Design and manage AWS cloud environments, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
Set up and oversee IAM roles, policies, and permissions within AWS to regulate resource access.
Maintain and enhance database systems to guarantee effective and consistent performance.
Implement comprehensive software testing approaches, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Work collaboratively with development teams to enhance code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Keep up-to-date of the latest trends and practices in DevOps, cloud services, and software development.


Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.5+ years of IT and network management, managing deployment pipelines, AWS cloud services, IAM, database administration, and software testing.

Skilled in programming languages including Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++.Hands-on familiarity with AWS tools such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and Lambda.

Proficient in database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.Well-versed in various software testing methods and tools.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, capable of functioning effectively in a collaborative setting.


Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS for containerization and orchestration.
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Proficient with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
Knowledge of IaC principles and tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Must live in the United States.
