    Job Summary: Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic is a newly founded team-based, physician-led, comprehensive health and wellness clinic in the beautiful area of Gillette, Wyoming. Our company was created to provide prospective healthcare resources to the community and meet the needs of our patient base. To do this effectively, we encourage spending more time with patients through a lower daily patient volume. In addition, we are structured to provide a large variety of additional services to patients in-house, including a compounding pharmacy, lab, mental health and social support, exercise and nutrition support, and general primary care. HH&WC offers top-tier technology resources to help achieve these goals and is open to additional resource recommendations pertaining to your specialist field. The Registered Dietician will focus on identifying with the patients' nutritional needs and dietary restriction, and implement adequate health and dietary plans to benefit the patient's overall health and well-being.

    Responsibilities

    • Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary care plans and nutritional counseling
    • Advise patients and families on nutritional principles, dietary plans or modifications, and food selection preparation
    • Incorporate patient cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences in the development of nutrition plans
    • Act in the role of a counselor and thus sustain patient morale
    • Compile information and track client progress towards health goals
    • Speak to groups to promote healthy eating habits and proper nutrition
    • Work with additional team members to address patients' needs or concerns, specifically members of the Life Style Center
    • Monitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards
    • Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance
    • Plan, conduct, and evaluate nutrigenomic or nutrigenetic research.
    • Fundamental 5 Responsibilities
    • Evaluate laboratory test in preparing nutrition recommendations
    • Observe, receive, and obtain information from relevant sources regarding patients overall health and nutrition
    • Record and evaluate patient and family health and food history, including symptoms, environmental toxic exposure, allergies, medication factors, and preventive health-care measures
    • Plan and conduct training programs in dietetics, nutrition, and institutional management and administration for medical students, health-care personnel, and the general public.
    • Counsel individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of life.

    Job Skills & Qualifications

    • Possess a Dietetics or associates degree from an ACEND accredited program
    • Successful completion of CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration) Examination; or ability to complete
    • Possess licensure to practice as a Dietician in WY; or ability to
    • Willingness to continue training and research to keep current on latest developments and discoveries within the field
    • Compassion and genuine interest in helping others
