    Description

    Humcap's client is a fast-paced Electronics Services company serving customers in the Industrial, Military, Energy and Communications industries, is looking for someone to join our team. . For the right employee, this position is a great opportunity to join our team, learn our business and grow with us.

    This position is responsible for technical support of new product introduction and manufacturing processes.This position will work with our customers designers and internal support teams to deliver high quality PCBAs.In addition, this position will review and address any shop-floor technical issues and support continual improvement activities.

    We believe we are well positioned to take advantage of the renaissance of US manufacturing and this position is an important part of our solution.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Review Customer furnished product documentation and understand the requirements

    • and resolve technical issues with the design and/or manufacturing processes
    • evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems.

    Evaluate manufacturing processes by conducting experiments; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.

    Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.

    Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

    Assure product and process quality by establishing standards and confirming manufacturing processes.

    Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

    Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    • reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.

    • suggestions during incident investigations and advise on corrective actions.
    • with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.

    Skill Set Required:

    BS Engineering degree or equivalent experience

    EMS industry experience

    Knowledge of PCBA processes (SMT and Post SMT) is a must

    Knowledge of System Level assembly a plus
