    Job Description (This position is in office and NOT Remote. We are located in Lockland Ohio)

Our office located in Cincinnati, OH has an immediate need for an experienced, detail-oriented, Accounts Payable Clerk to support the Midwest Region in carrying out basic Accounts Payable duties.

    Pay is $20-24 hour Depending on Experience

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and enter invoices from vendors. Match up to PO (if applicable)
    • Create checks for payments (some payments are made quickly to receive discounts)
    • Month End and Income Statement preparation:
    • Allocate Admin expenses to Departments
    • Go through checklist of necessary monthly expenses to make sure we have received the invoice for each expense.
    • Accrue any expenses where invoice was not received but expense is known
    • Reconcile Vendor Statements
    • Issue required Permits for jobs
    • Setup new vendors
    • Coordinate with install specialist on entering in all expenses for each install job
    • Issue purchase orders for jobs that require parts or equipment. Also create purchase orders for other needed supplies.
    • Verify that prices on Vendor invoices match up to our agreed upon pricing sheet from each company.
    • Make inventory transfers from main warehouse to the specialists' trucks to get parts to correct jobs.
    • Update Serial Numbers for Work Orders and Jobs

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
    • High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred
    • Must have strong work ethics
    • Must be well organized and a self-starter
    • Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
    • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
    • Proficient in Excel and Word, 10-key by touch
    • Ability to type 60-65 wpm
    • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
    • Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
    • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
    • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
    • Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
