    Description

    At MedStar Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide top-notch care to patients from admission through discharge.

    • You will contribute to the achievement of established department goals and objectives by adhering to policies procedures quality standards safety standards and MedStar SPIRIT Values.
    • Your primary duties and responsibilities include collecting analyzing and leveraging patient information using available technology providing relationship-based care that promotes continuous consistent efficient accountable delivery of nursing care using the nursing process with focus on patient experience identifying current potential complex problems planning appropriate interventions incorporating evidence-based practice research into delivery focusing on quality safety serving as advocate independently communicating clinical concerns in timely manner advocating for support counsel establishing priorities delegating tasks effectively resolving apparent concerns following chain of command consulting healthcare professionals seeking assistance evaluating patient response revising interventions as needed initiating monitoring discharge activities collaborating with team members contributing unit entity organizational goals inclusive mission vision values participating meetings committees representing hospital community outreach efforts participating multi-disciplinary quality service improvement teams.

    In this role, you must have:

    • An Associate's degree in Nursing from accredited academic program
    • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from accredited academic program preferred or be prepared at associate degree level required enroll BSN program within 12 months hire date completion within 4 years hire date

    Additionally:
