    Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist position based in State College, PA, offering a direct hire arrangement with a focus on unit-based clinical pharmacy practice. The role primarily supports Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) areas, providing specialized pharmaceutical care tailored to critical and acute patient needs.

    Schedule:

    • Variable days/afternoons with an emphasis on day shifts
    • 8-hour shifts

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Enter and verify medication orders, and conduct thorough medication profile reviews to ensure appropriateness.
    • Provide clinical pharmacy services tailored to the patient populations specific needs.
    • Respond to drug information inquiries to support clinical decision-making.
    • Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams and patient rounds within assigned practice areas.
    • Monitor drug therapy and perform pharmacist-managed consults following established protocols.
    • Engage in critical care scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, trauma, and other acute conditions in the ED/ICU settings.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Licensed pharmacist with clinical experience, particularly in emergency and critical care environments.
    • Ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations requiring quick, evidence-based decision-making.
    • Strong communication skills to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Demonstrated skill in reviewing and verifying medication orders and conducting patient-centered pharmaceutical care.
